Pet Friends & Rescue

Safely Surrender a Pet

Pet Friends and Rescue understands that occasions arise when a pet owner cannot keep their pets.  If you have adopted a Pet Friends and Rescue animal, our policy is that we will always take them back.  We believe strongly that it is a lifetime commitment to a companion animal, but if you need to re-home a pet here are some things to consider:

->  Place a re-homing ad in the local newspaper
->  Contact breed rescues
->  Ask your local veterinary clinics for people/groups to contact
->  Take photos of your pet and make a flyer to put up at local retail locations

Retrieval, fostering, and adoption of healthy companion animals into caring and loving homes Pet Friends and Rescues’ animal intake protocol is to rescue adoptable companion animals from Hollister Animal Control, only, and provide them with a permanent shelter environment while awaiting their new home.  Pet Friends and Rescue will also provide relief for displaced animals during emergencies.
