AUGUST 2009 PET FRIENDS Wag n’ Walk 5K was a Great Success! - Each year, members of the Leadership San Benito County look for projects that will support non-profit organizations in our community. This year, one of the projects of the Leadership San Benito County Class of 2009, was a 5K walk for people and their four-legged friends to support Pet Friends. Marissa Brennan and Barbara Cosio were co-chairs of the Wag n’ Walk 5K. Graniterock offered the use of their space on Airline Hwy. On June 13th hundreds of people and their best four-legged friends participated in what we hope is the first of many more annual Wag n’ Walk events to come. Pet Friends appreciates the long hours and work given by the Leadership San Benito County Class of 2009, the sponsors and the participants. Because of your compassion and dedication Pet Friends will be able to continue its outreach. Your contribution of over $6400. will benefit many companion animals in our community. Thank You! |

APRIL 2009 PET FRIENDS Luncheon - Fashion Show Huge Success! - We would like to thank the committee that organized and made this fabulous event possible: Barbara Ament, Sally Crisman, Nancy Ann Caffaro, Cheryl Chavez and Linda Dike. We would like to thank the volunteers that helped: Susan Lyon, Cinthia Bullwinkel, Pat Wisler, Diane Collins, Judy Pulling and Janette Murphy. We would also like to thank Sandy Weiss and Laura Costello from the Ridgemark Golf and Country Club for all their help. Thank you to She's and Janette Murphy for being the fashion commentator.
